Ow. Ow ow ow. My brain was apparently feeling receptive and I looked at [livejournal.com profile] ursulav 's plague rabbit sketches...   ursulav.deviantart.com/art/Rabbits-in-Masks-155267446 ... and I've been doing altogether too many Doctor Who-related things, PLUS I just got a steampunk campaign book for D&D. Apparently my muse stuck that in a blender and wants me to do all of it at once. OW.

Hello party people!
I don't think I've ever had cause to mention that I hate February, but I do. The weather is always crap, and for some reason, I ALWAYS get sick for most of the month. This time it's a low-grade coldish fluish thing that isn't doing anything major enough to go to the doctor, but won't go away and is screwing my already screwy sleep schedule up. Like today: I've been up for about an hour. Why, you ask? Because I went to sleep about twelve hours ago, and I only got three hours of sleep yesterday. So while I would like to say that I've just become nocturnal, that doesn't why I was up all day yesterday as well, so bugger.
Anyway. I've been whining about sleep to anyone who would listen for quite long enough. Mostly, it's going well, but February is not a good time to get a retail job, because even without the recession it's the slowest time of year. So I've been painting and drawing and writing and reading...a lot. I found the used bookstore. And the music store. And I still have money. Wow. This is mostly because their fantasy section is pretty small, and because the music store doesn't really have a lot for non-guitar/rock band musicians. Since I'm a clarinetist (because it's the only thing I have), I just got reeds and new cork grease. I need to get the poor old thing recorked again, but I don't know what their rates are. Since it's not crucial that I have it at all times, I may just take it into Hill whenever I get back to Casper; they know me, and I know them, and their music store is better so I can get actual music.
Oh. Right. Casper. Holly, I'm trying to talk Scott into us coming down this coming weekend, after you's b-day, but it may end up being the weekend after, because he's coming home that weekend and he may want to stay here. Maybe if I volunteer to drive... We'd take my car anyway.

O...kay....LiveJournal decided to skip a line there, for whatever reason. Anyway, that's it. Haven't killed the demon cat yet, the house hasn't burned down, what else could I ask for? Take care, everyone!

Lessee... what has Kelsey been doin? Nothing worth posting, really. Not since the last time. Just everyday stuffs. Still looking for a job that doesn't make me hate all of humanity, still don't have a scanner...
Oh. Bad news: the motherboard in my laptop went phtt for no apparent reason, and I have no USB ports. None. I can't sync my iPod, or use an actual mouse, or print any of my oodles of things on the damn thing. Also, it's running like a stoned sloth, both in performance and in speed, i.e., it's not doing a whole lot very fast. I'm typing this on the desktop, which is also running slowly, but it has USB ports and it runs at all. Ish. I hate the digital age, and it hates me.
Good  news: I got a new iPod. That's good news. It's a black 80G and it's very pretty, thank you Scott. Also, I'm still more or less full of inspiration, and am drawing and writing and it's not all total crap. Yay. Still have no scanner, but, hey, you can't have everything. Also, I got an art box (I think I mentioned) from my mother-in-law, and can now do things in color. Watercolor, to be exact. They're all pretty much bleh right now, so none shall be uploaded. But I'm having fun, and that's what counts. I finally got a library card, after almost six months of living here (had to find the library first). Next on the list is finding the used bookstore. Hmmm... Also good news is that I have my Nightwish tickets and my brother's coming, and, dammit, we're going to make it if we have to walk. ^^

So...yeah. I hate computers. They USED to like me, but now? I can't even get the damn thing to acknowlege that it's connected to the Internet half the time (it is I swear it is). Oh well. It's cyclical; it'll get better eventually. Toodles!
